Vandeusen Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, May 6th , 2051 It was a parade of hits for Brian Vandeusen of the Louisville Cardinals at Jim Patterson Stadium today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Vandeusen finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Cardinals to a 3-2 victory. "Vandeusen was really good and we were really bad," groaned Wildcats manager Stan Bates. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Brian Vandeusen singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
