Martin's Season Could be Over
Saturday, May 3rd , 2053
When Virginia reliever Gerard Martin was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Cavaliers-Volunteers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Martin had sustained a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 13-14 months.

In 5 relief appearances this season, Martin has no saves. He has 1 win and no losses, 1.98 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 13.2 innings.
