Moore Slams 5 Hits for Auburn Monday, May 8th , 2051 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Roy Moore is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Arizona State Sun Devils at Plainsman Park today. The monster effort from the 18-year-old right fielder helped the Auburn Tigers take the win, 6-5. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Sun Devils manager Manny Garza. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Roy Moore singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 7th. Moore is batting .341 with 5 home runs and 28 RBIs this season.
