30 Games in a Row for Gregory Friday, May 12th , 2051 Bob Gregory ran his hitting streak to 30 straight games today at Ballpark of Grand Prairie College, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Xavier Musketeers dropped the game, 7-3, to the Northwestern Wildcats. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Gregory said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Bob Gregory flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Richie Rollins in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Gregory is currently batting .395 with 7 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
