Postseason Bid Ends for Ohio State Saturday, May 13th , 2051 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Ohio State might have envisioned. The Ohio State Buckeyes were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in College Baseball and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Buckeyes manager Manuel González. This is the club's 6th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2045. In total, the Buckeyes have missed the playoffs 30 times in their 45-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Buckeyes have made the playoffs 2 times. Ohio State last won the National Championship in 2021. |
