Butler Loses Henry McDonald for Season Tuesday, May 10th, 2039 Henry McDonald of the Bulldogs just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Butler reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Oklahoma State Cowboys recently at Penmen Ballpark. McDonald suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Bulldogs medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 6 months. This season McDonald has made 5 relief appearances, pitched 9 innings and struck out 9 with a record of no wins and no losses. He has compiled a 5.00 ERA and saved 0 games. |
