Gregory Ups Hit Streak to 31 Consecutive Games Saturday, May 13th , 2051 Bob Gregory's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Xavier. The 19-year-old left fielder extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 31 games with a 4-for-5 performance against the Northwestern Wildcats. The Musketeers took the game, 7-3. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Bob Gregory doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. Currently Gregory is batting .407 with 7 home runs and 35 RBIs. |
