Tennessee Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Wednesday, May 17th , 2051 Members of the Tennessee Volunteers are left wondering what could have been today, as the team has been eliminated from postseason contention. "You look back at a handful of games that easily could have gone the other way for us," said reliever Hubert Durham. "We really think we were good enough to get to the playoffs this year, so it stings." The Volunteers have made the playoffs 9 times in their 45 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2042. In the last 10 seasons, the Volunteers have only made the playoffs once. |
