UCLA Won't Make Playoffs Thursday, May 18th , 2051 Cal Simpson didn't hide his feelings when asked by reporters how he felt to know his UCLA Bruins are now officially out of postseason contention. "It's one of the worst feelings you can have as a baseball player," he said. The Bruins have missed the playoffs 28 times in their 45 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2045. In the last 10 seasons, the Bruins have missed the playoffs 8 times.
