Tigers Won't Get Playoff Berth Saturday, May 20th , 2051 A close finish won't make it any easier for the Louisiana State Tigers to end their season early. The club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention for the 2051 season. "There were some things broken and some things said that are not repeatable," Tigers manager Leroy Sibbald. Before this season, the Tigers last missed the playoffs in 2048. In the 45 years they have been a College Baseball franchise, they have missed the playoffs 32 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Tigers have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
