With a record of 30-20, the club has won its 6th division title. "It's special," first baseman Víctor Suárez said when asked to sum up his feelings. "It's easy to take for granted what it's like to be on a winning team, but everyone who has ever been on a loser knows how sweet this is." Team manager Jesús Martínez said the focus will now shift towards getting ready for the playoffs, where the team will be trying to win the 1st championship in franchise history. |
