Brad Western Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year
Friday, April 30th , 2055
The doctors have spoken and Brad Western of the Texas A&M Aggies didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old first baseman is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Western sustained his season-ending injury during the Oregon State Beavers game yesterday at Olsen Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Texas A&M medical staff reported Western had a torn anterior cruciate ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7 months.

This season, Western is hitting .310 with 35 hits, 7 home runs, 21 RBIs, scored 20 runs and played in 31 games.
