Bryce Donnelly Injured, Out for Year Thursday, May 22nd , 2053 A blow for Bryce Donnelly today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 6-7 months with a torn labrum. Donnelly suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the West Virginia Mountaineers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Donnelly's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this season, Donnelly has registered 11 starts, 3-3 won-lost mark, 4.07 ERA, 66.1 IP, 78 strikeouts and 42 walks. Opposing teams have hit .269 against him. |
