Hits Blitz for Golden Bears Holland Monday, May 10th , 2055 The California Golden Bears topped the Indiana Hoosiers by a score of 17-3 at Evans Diamond, but all the talk was centered on right fielder Alfred Holland. The California star hit for the cycle in a show-stealing performance, powering his club to the win. Holland went 5-for-5, collecting 1 single, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run to go along with 7 runs batted in and 3 runs scored. "I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," Holland said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me - the ball seemed that big. And it just floated in."
