Michigan Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Tuesday, May 11th , 2055 It's now time for the Michigan Wolverines to start turning their attention to what can be done to help improve the club for next season. The team was formally eliminated from playoff contention today for the 2055 season. "We knew a title was a long shot at this point, but mentally there's a big difference between a tiny chance and no chance at all," said Wolverines right fielder Greg Worley. This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2051. In total, the Wolverines have missed the playoffs 33 times in their 49-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Wolverines have made the playoffs 3 times. |
