Skipper Santiago Valentín Out in Utah Sunday, June 11th , 2051 The Utah Utes have severed ties with their manager, Santiago Valentín, announcing his firing this afternoon at a hastily called press conference. General manager Joe Unknown was quoted as saying the club has a lot of needs, beginning with a new skipper. "He did the best he could, but we just did not see the improvement needed to get our team in the upper echelon in this league," he said. "The time was right for us to part company." There's no word yet on who will be the new Utah manager, although club sources say the list is short. |
