College Baseball Announces Best Manager Thursday, June 22nd , 2051 Manny Garza stepped before the microphone today and accepted his College Baseball Manager of the Year award, thanking the whole Arizona State Sun Devils organization for making the 2051 season such a success. Garza struggled to find the right words. "My father was a drill instructor in the military. He taught me that you have to work hard, set goals and accept responsibility for your actions. That's what the entire Arizona State organization did this year. My dedicated owner, coaching staff, hard-working and talented players and loyal front office all made this award possible. I thank them for it." And what a year it was. Garza sparked the Sun Devils to a 30-20 record and a first in the NCAA Pac-12 South standings. |
