Manager Ellis Forced Out in Iowa Thursday, June 11th , 2043 Reports surfaced earlier today that Iowa Hawkeyes manager Andrew Ellis might not hold on to his job much longer. A few hours later, the team confirmed those rumors and announced that Ellis had been dismissed. "We're not totally shocked," one player said. "You could feel the tension every day at the ballpark. We all knew something had to give, and now it has." Team officials said a list of candidates has been prepared and the process of finding a new manager would begin soon. They declined to discuss potential candidates. |
