Tigers Move on to National Championship Tuesday, June 2nd , 2054 A classic and dramatic Final Four has wrapped up, with the Missouri Tigers outlasting the Virginia Cavaliers to advance to the National Championship. Missouri won the final game by a score of 7-6 and took the series 2-1. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Missouri left fielder Jason Thomas, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Thomas hit .385 with a .385 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs. The National Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Final Four finishes.
