Sweet Sixteen Goes the Distance, Georgetown Prevails Friday, May 28th , 2055 It took a while, but the Georgetown Hoyas finally disposed of the Saint John's Red Storm 7-5 in the series clincher at Jack Kaiser Stadium. Winning the finale gave the Hoyas the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Elite 8. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Georgetown left fielder Jack Weber.
