Hawkeyes Advance to Final Four Monday, May 31st , 2055 The Iowa Hawkeyes appear poised to make a serious run at the National Championship after a convincing sweep over the Oregon State Beavers in the Elite 8. It's now on to the Final Four for Iowa, who won the final game 6-5 and took the series 2-0. "Everyone's doing their part and things are falling into place," said Iowa right fielder Dustin Long, who was named series MVP. "It feels like a special year."
