5-Hit Game for Clark Monday, March 28th , 2050 Fans at Cap Timm Field got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season. The Iowa State Cyclones outplayed the Cincinnati Bearcats en route to a 29-1 win, but the standout was first baseman Craig Clark. Clark netted 5 hits in 6 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line. "Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Bearcats manager José Feliciano said in postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too." Craig Clark doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Éric Girault in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Éric Girault in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
