Harris Sensational, 6-for-7 Saturday, April 4th , 2054 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Colin Harris -- a 6-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Alex Box Stadium and paced the 24-7 Rebels win over the Louisiana State Tigers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Mississippi center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 6 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. Colin Harris singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Harry Rigsby in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
