Season Over for William Gilder in Arizona Monday, April 6th , 2054 The season is ending on a bad note for William Gilder, closer for the Arizona Wildcats. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Gilder was hurt against the Xavier Musketeers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 9-10 months. So far this season, Gilder has put up these stats: 5 relief appearances, 3 saves, 6.1 IP, 10 strikeouts, and 4.26 ERA. His won-lost record is 0-1, and the opposition is hitting .296 against him. |
