Postseason Bid Ends for Notre Dame Tuesday, May 17th , 2050 Notre Dame Fighting Irish first baseman Adam Burkett said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2050 postseason contention. Before this season, the Fighting Irish last missed the playoffs in 2048. In the 44 years they have been a College Baseball franchise, they have made the playoffs 7 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Fighting Irish have made the playoffs 3 times. |
