Hasegawa Befuddles Arizona in 11-0 Southern California Win Thursday, May 19th , 2050 In an outstanding mound performance, Southern California Trojans starter Ikemoto Hasegawa fired a complete-game shutout against the Arizona Wildcats at Dedeaux Field today. Hasegawa was the key to the Trojans's 11-0 win. The 20-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 5 hits and 2 walks he allowed. "5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." This year Hasegawa has compiled a 8-2 mark with a 2.08 ERA.
