Playoffs Won't Happen for Red Raiders Friday, May 20th , 2050 The playoff chase by the Texas Tech Red Raiders has run out of steam. The club was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. "We came up short," manager Ronald Cotton said. Texas Tech last appeared in the postseason in 2048. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 33 times in their 44-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Red Raiders have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
