Arizona Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Saturday, May 21st , 2050 Arizona Wildcats manager Ki-tong Shiu said his club came "agonizingly close" to making the playoffs. But close won't be good enough this year, as the Wildcats have now been officially ousted from contention. Arizona last appeared in the postseason in 2044. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 35 times in their 44-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Wildcats have only made the playoffs once. |
