No Late-Season Magic Coming: Georgetown Out of Playoffs Saturday, May 21st , 2050 The Georgetown Hoyas will have a "long time to dwell" on this season's failure to get into the postseason, according to starting pitcher Woody Willis. Still in the chase in the season's final days, the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention earlier today. Before this season, the Hoyas last missed the playoffs in 2047. In the 44 years they have been a College Baseball franchise, they have made the playoffs 10 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Hoyas have made the playoffs 5 times.
