Beavers Cruise to Final Four with Sweep Sunday, May 29th , 2050 The Oregon State Beavers are on to the Final Four after a convincing series win over the Texas Longhorns. Oregon State wrapped up the series sweep with a 3-2 win in the last game, to take the series 2-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Michael Howard, who was named series MVP. For the series, Howard hit .571 with a .625 on-base percentage.
