Michigan State Sweeps into the National Championship Wednesday, June 1st , 2050 The Michigan State Spartans outclassed the Oregon State Beavers in all facets of the game throughout the NCAA Final Four. The end result was a Michigan State series sweep to advance to the National Championship, capped off by a 7-2 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said left fielder Santiago Romero, who hit .400 in the series. Romero's standout effort garnered him MVP honors.
