Molina on Fire, Strikes out 15 Sooners Monday, May 11th , 2054 Connecticut Huskies starter Jack Molina brought his best stuff to J.O. Christian Field against the Oklahoma Sooners, striking out 15 batters in his club's 13-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 18-year-old Molina gave up 5 hits in his 8 innings of work and issued 3 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my curveball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." To date Molina is 2-4 in 9 starts with a 5.37 ERA and has 72 strikeouts in 62 innings.
