Creighton Shuts Out Friars, Lockhart Winner Monday, May 11th , 2054 Jim Lockhart pitched a strong game at Jaspers Ballpark, blanking the Providence Friars, 6-0. Lockhart, who leads the NCAA in complete games with 5, allowed no runs on 10 hits, totaled 10 strikeouts and gave up 3 walks. Creighton manager Iván Salas said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Lockhart. "Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," Salas said.
