Tigers Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, May 14th , 2054 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Louisiana State might have envisioned. The Louisiana State Tigers were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in College Baseball and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Tigers manager Leroy Sibbald. This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2050. In total, the Tigers have missed the playoffs 35 times in their 48-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tigers have made the playoffs 3 times. |
