Copeland Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, May 17th , 2054 All game long, Arkansas's Dusty Copeland was rattling the walls at Shipley Field and banging out base hits against the Maryland Terrapins. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Razorbacks had a win, 14-4. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 19-year-old first baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Dusty Copeland hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Iván Ibarra in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. This season, Copeland has delivered 37 hits in 137 at-bats for a .270 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .445 clip and his totals also include 22 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
