No Late-Season Magic Coming: Kentucky Out of Playoffs Wednesday, May 20th , 2054 Ralph Cobb, the manager of the Kentucky Wildcats, said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying. Before this season, the Wildcats last missed the playoffs in 2052. In the 48 years they have been a College Baseball franchise, they have made the playoffs 18 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Wildcats have made the playoffs 4 times. |
