Stanford Loses Kurt Sorensen, Will Miss Season Friday, April 28th , 2056 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Oregon Ducks, Cardinal starting pitcher Kurt Sorensen was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 11-12 months with a stretched elbow ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Stanford skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. To date this year, in 7 starts, Sorensen has crafted a 1-5 mark with a 5.08 ERA. |
