Cardinal Not Competitive in 6-0 Loss to Georgia Tech
Sunday, April 2nd , 2051
Today was Dudley Klein's turn in the rotation for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and he made the most of it, shutting out the Stanford Cardinal on 3 hits.
The 19-year-old right-hander led the Yellow Jackets to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 5 strikeouts.
"I hope we miss him next time," Stanford manager John Sampson said. "Klein certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
