Hit Parade: Hall Gets Cycle
Thursday, April 1st , 2055
It was a quite a day for Chris Hall at Hoglund Ballpark.
He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is -- a single, double, triple and home run. The Missouri shortstop accomplished the rare feat during his team's 16-4 victory over the Kansas Jayhawks.
"I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it," he told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference. "The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it's the win that's important."
Hall went 4-for-4 in the game with 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored.
Chris Hall hit a sac fly in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Freddy BenÃtez in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.
A look at his current stats shows Hall with a .667 average, 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has played in 5 games.
