The Connecticut center fielder gave it his all and dominated Creighton Blue Jays pitching at J.O. Christian Field, finishing with a great 5-for-6 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Blue Jays going home the winner, 13-9. "There's no point gloating about a 5-hit day in a loss," Gutiérrez said. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 5 home runs instead."
