3-HR Dream Game for Paul Tuesday, May 7th , 2047 Whatever Curt Paul ate for breakfast before his game against the Washington Huskies today, it gave him some impressive power. The Creighton right fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Husky Ballpark. His home run barrage led the Blue Jays to take the 11-2 victory over the Huskies. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-5, scored 4 times, drove in 4 and put on a display that history will remember. Curt Paul struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Pancho Butrón in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Pancho Butrón in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Eddy Thomas in the 9th. This year Paul is hitting .248, produced 30 RBIs and 11 home runs, scored 34 times and gotten on base at a .371 rate. |
