Scott Miller Sidelined for Season Friday, April 21st , 2051 It took the Butler team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Scott Miller won't simply play through a torn labrum after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Buffaloes-Bulldogs game. At first, it looked like Miller might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 9 months. This season Miller has fanned 14 in 26.2 innings and collected a 2-1 record with a 6.07 ERA. |
