Jon Hutchison of the Michigan State Spartans had one of those moments when he went 5-for-7 at the plate in his team's 24-7 win over the Southern California Trojans at John H Kobs Field. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 20-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Jon Hutchison hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
