Burke 5-for-6 for Florida State Friday, April 28th , 2051 Today at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium, the Florida State Seminoles fell to the Texas A&M Aggies despite a splendid performance by right fielder Cliff Burke. Burke had an exceptional day at the plate, tagging Aggies pitching for 5 base hits, but it was not enough for Florida State to come away with the win. Texas A&M whipped Florida State by a score of 20-10. Cliff Burke singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Mike Daniels in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Steve Estes in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
