The North Carolina Tar Heels have been eliminated from postseason contention. "I'm not happy but I'm trying to come to terms with it," third baseman Josh English said. North Carolina last appeared in the postseason in 2040. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 33 times in their 41 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tar Heels have only made the playoffs once. |
