Season Ends for Jeremy Ferrell of Mississippi State Tuesday, April 13th , 2055 The season is apparently over for Jeremy Ferrell. The Mississippi State Bulldogs medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 4 months with a ruptured finger tendon. Ferrell was hurt in the game against Purdue while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. For the season, Ferrell has made 5 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 0.93 ERA. In pitching 9.2 innings, he has totaled 9 strikeouts and 3 walks. |
