The manager of the Glendale Desert Dogs said he thinks Firuz Djidjishvili is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 20, but it will be hard to top the left fielder's 2051 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Arizona Winter League AWL Most Valuable Player.

His winning campaign featured a .333 batting average and a .362 on-base percentage this year. In 24 games he piled up 30 hits, 7 doubles, 2 triples, 7 home runs, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored.

He received 7 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. John Hopper of the Scottsdale Scorpions finished second in voting, while Augusto Chávez of the Glendale Desert Dogs finished third.
