Wednesday, February 11th , 2054
He may have less experience than most of his Arizona Winter League peers, but that didn't slow Chris Hoskins down at all in 2054.

At the age of 24, the Scottsdale center fielder has been named the winner of the Arizona Winter League AWL Most Valuable Player.

He had a .484 batting average and a .528 on-base percentage this year. In 17 games he piled up 31 hits, 9 doubles, no triples, 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and 12 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 7. Tom Kramer of the Peoria Javelinas finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Joe Harrington of the Scottsdale Scorpions finished third.
