Ruíz Raps Tennessee for 5 Hits
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Ángel Ruíz. Ruíz went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Tennessee pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Lindsey Nelson Stadium, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Clemson Tigers had a win, 14-7, over the Volunteers.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Ángel Ruíz singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
