Great Stroke: Houston Gets 5 Hits
It was high-fives all around for Adam Houston at Fat Cats Park today.

He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Roy Eagle Squadron. Houston smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 28-3 win.

"Adam was hitting everything," said Fat Cats manager Alonso Delgado. "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Eagle Squadron manager told BNN beat writers that Houston "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Houston oversleeps next time."

Adam Houston walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

To date Houston has chalked up a .364 average with 5 home runs, driven in 10 runs and scored 14 times.
